Paris Concert is a live solo piano album by American pianist Keith Jarrett, and released by ECM Records. It was recorded on October 17, 1988 at the Salle Pleyel in Paris, in front of a live audience. The first track on the album is simply entitled "October 17, 1988", named after the day of the concert.

This one is unusual in that it is one long improvised piece accompanied by the excellent tune titled 'The Wind' and the Jarrett ends the show, well the LP in any case with some 'Blues' which lightens up the seriousness of the main track which can be at times fragmented and diffuse. The self-imposed quarantine on solo concerts over, Keith Jarrett returned to the improvisatory format that he virtually invented, mellower and more devotional than ever. Indeed, within the 38 minutes of solo improvisation captured at Paris's Salle Pleyel, Jarrett pulls further away from the old rousing (and thoroughly American) gospel, blues and folk roots of earlier concerts toward a more abstract concept
