The first Amon Amarth album I heard. The first three songs are amazing. I love the growly bit right before he says free will sacrifice, and the narrative on guardians of Asgaard. First amon amarth album I heard and twilight of the thunder god is awesome I know every word to it and I've only been listening to amon amarth for probably 5 days :) anyway I love this album and all the others to AA is awesome. 2 With Oden On Our Side. Great album - every song is perfect.
Jomsviking, while not entirely different from Amon Amarth’s already spectacular discography, does succeed in breaking a little new ground for the band. Amon Amarth has a reputation that other bands wish they have. They’re simply just a powerhouse in the world of death metal with no intentions of stopping. But I, like many other fans, have been perhaps a little unwilling to honestly express our slight disappointment in their last few studio albums. It’s not that any of them have been bad, but they definitely have been perhaps a little too similar to each other
