A Portrait of the life and times of the people of the county of Bedfordshire.

Life And Times were formed in 1983, and originally included Gregg Lindsay (flute). Meek had earlier been working in various rock bands, including one from his schooldays which included singer Paul Young. Subsequently, Meek worked as one half of a duo called Midas with Debra Arthurs, from 1977-80, playing folk clubs and festivals. The duo only recorded one single, in 1977. Meanwhile, Goodman had spent four years in folk duo Mead, with Steve Rackstraw, then Vermin with Gadfan Edwards, and later Gregg Lindsay, as well as solo work

Life and Times is the fourth studio album by American singer-songwriter Jim Croce, released in 1973. The album contains the Billboard chart hit "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown", one of Croce's most successful songs. Croce was nominated for two 1973 Grammy awards in the "Pop Male Vocalist" and "Record of the Year" categories for the song "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown". All tracks written by Jim Croce. Jim Croce - guitar, vocals. Kenny Ascher - organ. Terry Cashman - vocals. Gary Chester - drums.

he Life and Times has lived a thousand lives since their first record more than 12 years ago, after the dissolution of Allen Epley’s former band, little guy cult fave’s Shiner. This 5th full-length album is a sun and drug-dappled beauty, infused with a thick sonic kaleidoscope of tones. More immediate and to the point than previous releases, power and beauty hold the cards ultimately.

Originally Life & Times was formed out of one solo performer and an already existing duo, Vermin, which consisted of Barry Goodman & Greg Lindsay. Life & Times recorded its first LP with Fellside Recordings in 1984. Strawplait & Bonelace sold out in vinyl very quickly and set the trend for Life & Times’ music. Typical of the localised content of many traditional songs and broadsides, the songs and music on the recording all had connections with local Bedfordshire stories, history and legend; a theme which would reappear later in their career.

The Life and Times is an American indie rock band from Kansas City, Missouri, active since forming in 2002. Since August 2005, The Life and Times has played over 200 shows in support of their debut full-length release Suburban Hymns (DeSoto) on US tours with bands like The Appleseed Cast, Murder by Death, Pelican, Mono, Sparta, Pinback, Engine Down, and William Elliott Whitmore.

Illustrator, science student, designer and maker: Missy Jones creates under the name Bone & Lace. Funny you should ask - I've been making an EP, album art and all, with my duo The Grenadiers, and it's taken rather a lot of energy! If you're into folk music, you should totally go check us out. We're about to go touring to launch it so I'll be away for the next few months doing that, but there's still loads of designs up on Rebubble if you're chasing that special something just in time for Christmas. Illustrator, science student, wonderer at the universe; line art, dots, and detail.
